Flying In
Most flights come into the Northwest Florida Gulf Coast via Atlanta and then a connection flight will take air travelers to either the
Northwest Florida Regional Airport (VPS),
Panama City-Bay County International Airport or the Pensacola International Airport.
Delta, USAir Express and Northwest Airlink service the Panama City-Bay County International Airport. Delta, Northwest, US Airways,
Continental and American Eagle service the Northwest Florida Regional Airport in Fort Walton Beach. The state-of-the-art Airport
serves over 800,000 passengers each year with direct service to Atlanta, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Dallas, Houston, Memphis, and Tampa.
Private airports are also found in DeFuniak Springs and Destin.
After arriving at the airport travelers will need to make arrangements for a rental car, limousine service, shuttle or cab service to get to their destination.
